The service offered entails your sending a submission of
fifty pages, or more, from your manuscript. Also you should
provide your synopsis and a copy of the letter you have
used or intend using in your approach to editors or agents.
Mention anything about yourself that is relevant to what
you have written. Another page detailing your hopes and
ambitions for your writing will be of interest. Finally
feel free to include any questions you may have on any aspect
of publishing. I regret I cannot recommend specific literary
agents, or comment on individual publishers.
You will appreciate that reading and evaluating all that
material, and then producing a carefully considered constructive
response is very time consuming. The fee for those fifty
pages and the other items I have mentioned will be just
£95 ($190 USD). The arrival of your material will
be acknowledged that day and you will be told when you will
receive our considered response. That is always within three
weeks.
For those who wish to submit more of their manuscript or
even the whole of it, then for material over and above those
fifty pages the price is £2.95 ($5.99 USD) per thousand
words. Novels, short stories and autobiographies are all
at the same rate. I would be happy to provide a written
quotation. These are introductory fees and they will be
subject to revision on January 1st. 2008
As you should always keep a copy of your work and the postman
often renders manuscripts unfit for further use I do not
usually return submissions. If though you do want it returned
then if you advise me of the weight I shall provide a quotation
for its return.
There are no other charges, no hidden extras.
Payment. I do prefer to receive payment through
Paypal. Those who use Ebay or do online shopping will be
familiar with this easiest and safest of systems. You can

Confirmation of payment is sent immediately.
If you wish to use some other method of payment then please
discuss it with me first. Cheques can only be accepted from
